About Takalau Resort

TAKALAU” is a Cham word (a very flourishing civilization in the South of the Vietnam from 4th to 17th century). “Takalau” is a forest tree, whose mauve flowers ressemble to crowns andflowerin bouquets. Its whitewood and slightly scented is very appreciated in the manufacture of the pieces of furniture.

TAKALAU” is not only one pretty character in the Champa language but it is also a symbol of culture in Indo-Polynesian Cham civilization.

TAKALAU” means “Bang-Lang” in Vietnamese. Nowadays, Bang-Lang became rarer. One makes them push on the edges of the road or in the parks, not only because they bring shade but also because they bring romance due to the colors of its flowers…
